Since a young boy, local Gold Coast photographer Ben Upton has found a passion in capturing and documenting the local landscape and the people that contribute to this unique and beautiful part of Australia. Ben took up professional photography as a young adult with commissions in commercial restaurant photography, fashion photography and bio shots. However after working in commercial photography in New Zealand, Ben moved his focus onto the documentation and archival processes of timelapse photography.

Inspired by the lush hinterland of Gold Coast’s Tamborine Mountain in which he grew up, Ben developed a passion for landscape photography. Currently working as a Gold Coast Photographer has given Ben the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people, environments and settings.

Ben’s expertise extends from product, commercial, restaurant and cuisine, aerial, lifestyle and timelapse photography to weddings, portrait, family and children’s photography.

With a specialty in editorial, architectural, aerial and high resolution time lapse photography for construction and engineering, Ben’s experience in capturing the working elements of a large industrial landscape shows a uniqueness found in this spectacular form of archival photography.
